Lull

Lull...that's the word that comes to mind when I think about our adoption at this point in time. It has been 2 weeks since we mailed our I-600 A application to immigration and we are continuing to wait for our fingerprinting appts. Our agency has said this usually takes about 4 weeks. I was wondering if other APs have been experiencing this approx. time frame as well. Anyway, there is nothing exciting to report...

  1. For what it's worth, I sent my I600A application in April 2, received my fingerprinting appointment just shy of 3 weeks later, which was scheduled for 4 weeks after that (I did drop in and get the fingerprints 2 weeks early though they said they aren't supposed to) and it took a little more than 5 weeks after that to receive my approval form (other parents I knew during that time got their form in just two weeks so 5 weeks felt long!). best wishes for a speedy turnaround for your paperwork!! 2. Thanks for the information Becky!
I am just going to assume that this part will take a while and that way we can be pleasantly surprised if things go a bit faster!
